Only transcribe media you own or have permission to use. VoiceToTextFree does not download media from other sites.
Auto-detect works for clear speech; choosing the language is faster and safer for accents.
Limits: 500 MB per file; speech must be audible; Whisper can struggle with music, overlapping voices and very noisy recordings. VoiceToTextFree does not upload files or send audio to a paid API.

How to use Slovenian in the generator
Choose Slovenian in the language picker, or leave auto-detect on for clear single-language audio. The model returns Latin text; the editor lets you fix names, numbers and punctuation before export.
The editor stays left-to-right. Check that the exported file is UTF-8 so diacritics and non-Latin characters survive in your player.
Frequently asked questions
Does VoiceToTextFree support Slovenian?
Slovenian (slovenščina) is present in the multilingual Whisper tokenizer used by this site, so it can be selected in the language picker. Accuracy varies and has not been independently tested on this page.
What script does the Slovenian output use?
Whisper normally outputs Latin for Slovenian. It does not promise romanized output for mixed or code-switched speech.
Can I export Slovenian subtitles as SRT?
Yes. After transcribing, edit the cues and download SRT, VTT or TXT. Files are written as UTF-8; check them in your target player before publishing.
