This policy describes the storage used by VoiceToTextFree, operated by Abdul Samad. It matches the choices in the consent banner: strictly necessary storage is always on, while advertising and analytics are optional and off until you allow them.

Browser cache and the service worker
The site registers a service worker that caches the app shell (pages, scripts and the ffmpeg/onnx runtime files) so the tool can reload offline. Whisper model files downloaded from the model host are stored in the browser's Cache API by the library that runs the model, not by this site's cookies. Both are covered by your browser's standard "clear browsing data" controls; clearing them removes cached weights, so the next transcription run downloads the model again. This caching does not record or transmit your transcripts.
Advertising cookies
If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may set cookies or use similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google and its partners may use these for personalised advertising based on visits to this and other sites. These cookies are not set until you grant advertising consent, and Consent Mode v2 signals are set to denied by default.

Analytics
The site can load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for traffic statistics, but only under two conditions at once: the maintainer has configured a GA4 measurement ID, and you have granted analytics consent in this banner (or allowed all storage). If either condition is missing, no analytics script is loaded and no measurement request is made. Turning the analytics choice off later stops the script from loading on your next visit.
How to change your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer to reopen the banner. You can accept all, reject non-essential storage or choose categories individually. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings; that removes your saved choice, so the banner will appear again.
